The Enchanted Tiki Shop

The Boutique at Disney's Polynesian Resort is a fine shop befitting a deluxe property such as this. From the intricate carved wood to the bamboo fixtures, it's a shopper's paradise in one of the most beautiful resorts at Walt Disney World.

But strange things are afoot in Polynesia. It would appear the Tiki statues, not content to just stand around, have come to life and put their own wacky spin on things. Right from the outset, you can see they've altered the name of the shop, calling it Bou-Tiki (I especially love the handprints on the sign and the Tiki on the left with the nails held in his teeth).

Inside, the Tikis are mostly hard at work in the store, showing off the wares or wheeling them out from the stockroom (sure those T-shirts can't be that heavy).

In case you couldn't tell, there's a bit of Disney magic at play here... and even a few hidden Mickeys. Just take a look at the back of the Tiki statues:

Our Tiki friends aren't all work and no play, though. In fact, some of them are downright goofy, like this pair playing a game of Hide & Seek. The little guy doesn't want us to give away his position, as his friend peers through the window from outside!
