Frontierland Station

Down near Big Thunder is the western-most depot of the Walt Disney World Railroad, Frontierland Station. Go ahead up the stairs and step inside. The Ticket Office is closed, but you can just pay your fare to the conductor. While you're waiting, you can stay up to speed on the status of your train by checking the departure board or just keep yourself warm by cozying up to the potbelly stove in the corner. Don't forget to give a glance to the wanted posters, in case you may spot of these outlaws trying to get on the train.

Aside from passengers, the trains coming through Frontierland deliver crates and barrels filled with goods for the townsfolk. For those goods which have gone astray, people can check to see if they turn up in the Lost & Found. (At one time, there was a clever bit of Hidden Disney here: a wooden leg labeled with the name "SMITH," a reference to a joke told in Mary Poppins. I'm not sure what happened to the leg, but hopefully it will return soon.)

Four passenger trains serve on the Walt Disney World Railroad: Lilly Belle, Walter E. Disney, Roy O. Disney and Roger E. Broggie (pictured below and named for the Imagineer who established the Studio Machine Shop and helped Walt build his backyard railroad).
