    1) Before going private in 1986, Pixar was part of what other company? Lucasfilm

    2) Where is the headquarters of Pixar Animation Studios currently located? Emeryville, CA (outside San Francisco)

    3) What is Luxo, Jr.? He's the little lamp who starred in Pixar's first solo short film and has gone on to become the company's unofficial mascot, appearing at the opening of every Pixar film.

    4) What early Pixar short film inspired Toy Story? Tin Toy

    5) Who or what is the protagonist in the short film Red's Dream? A unicycle

    6) Where in Toy Story can you see a tribute to A113, the room at Cal-Arts where several Pixar animators learned their craft? It's the license plate on Andy's mom's car. A113 makes an appearance in every Pixar feature.

    7) When Flik arrives in the "big city" in A Bug's Life, a logo is seen for what Disney Broadway production? The Lion King

    8) At the start of Toy Story 2, Buzz is seen flying through an alien landscape created by repurposing elements modeled for what other film? The alien world is actually the valley surrounding Ant Island from A Bug's Life. When it was scaled up for use in Toy Story 2, a miscalculation resulted in pebbles from the ground appearing as floating boulders. The effect looked so cool and otherworldly, though, they decided to keep it!
